i am a free-spirited woman, navigating my way through these rainbow waters of life…living, loving, growing & making art!

over the past few years i am been finding myself bouncing back and forth between colorado and california.  i have finally chosen to settle for a moment in the beautiful redwoods of california's bay area, where i am pursuing a master's degree in transformative arts.  people ask, what is transformative arts?  and my answer is that i am not entirely sure yet, but here's what i've got so far: it is a way of looking at art as a tool to create change (& not just something that people hang on their walls); it's a proponent for free and open expression in whatever form it takes; it honors the notion that art is spirit, energy; it encourarages the idea that the power of art lies mostly in the process, rather than the product; it is alive.

my personal artwork is inspired by my relationship with the earth (her colors, movements, grooves, textures).  I like to think about body as landscape and mankind's place in the larger cycle of nature.

i love to dig my hands in the dirt. 
trees teach me things.
i am a strong believer in love.
